Additional stationary ideas to think about.

There are many varieties of wedding stationary. If you are planning a wedding over a half-year in the future, a "save the date" postcard may be a good idea to send out. The wedding invitation itself can be either for the whole day or just for the reception; a reply card with a stamped envelope is nice to include. The "save the date" the invite and reply card and envelope should form a similarly-themed stationary set. Information for attendees can include maps, driving directions, local hotels, tourist attractions.

During the wedding, an "order of service" card can be used to indicate the timetable and venues for the events in a civil and a church ceremony.

Place cards on tables help guests find their seats at the wedding reception. A menu is usually placed on the table.

A guest book placed at the entrance along with a table plan may be a good idea.

Thank you cards are to acknowledge gifts received, and thank you cards to the bridesmaids (sorry I made you wear that dress!), the maid of honor the flower girl are nice.
